The Category Sales Specialist - Cleaning Solutions will assist Makita Canada to grow its revenue and market share of products within your specialty.

You will be Makita Canada's "Product Specialist" in our Cleaning Solutions Category. As a Category Sales Specialist you will be responsible for expanding our dealer market for cleaning equipment; generating and increasing product demand for Makita Cleaning equipment with professional end users; and ensuring a high level of service to the dealers and end users.

As a member of the regional sales team, you will be supported by the Ontario sales and service teams as well as the Product Management and marketing teams in Whitby.

Formulation Chemist - Peterborough, ON

The Formulation Chemist position is responsible for the formulation, efficacy, and quality of all products manufactured by Charlotte Products Ltd. Primary duties and responsibilities include:

• Research and develop products as related to floor care, fabric washing, mechanical ware-washing, specialty cleaners for hospitality, food service, general cleaners, disinfectants, and healthcare fields.

• Regulatory affairs, which includes preparation of MSDS, TDG, and WHMIS information.

• Consult and evaluate with raw material suppliers.

• Conduct efficacy and stability evaluations.

• Perform quality control testing on all in-process and finished batches according to specification.

• Evaluate raw materials to specification.

• Assist in product quality investigation and resolution.

• Provide technical support to customers and sales staff.

• Conduct comparative product and costing analysis.

• Other duties as assigned.
